Requirements for the exportation of animals and animal products

Do you intend to export animals or animal products?

Listed below are the essential requirements for the exportation of animals and animal products out of Nigeria.

• Apply for Export Permit from the Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO);

• Notify Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) of export permit details;

• Arrange inspection of export products and export production premises by NAQS;

• Notify NAQS of expected date of export for inspection and certification;

• Be notified of scheduled inspection and re-certification of export products, processes and premises.
